GERASTAN BAKEHOUSE

Baking has always been a quiet passion of mine. I have a degree in interior design and decoration and spent several years working as an interior designer for Laura Ashley, where I developed a love for detail, craftsmanship, and timeless style. Alongside my career, I created birthday and wedding cakes for friends and family simply because I loved it.

With so much encouragement and kind feedback, I decided to follow my heart and open Gerastan Bakehouse. Gerastan is a portmanteau of my late grandad’s name, Gerald Stanley, who adored cakes, pastries, and sweet treats and always encouraged us to follow my dreams. He lived with kindness, humility, and quiet determination, and he continues to inspire everything I do.

Today, I feel incredibly lucky to design and craft beautiful cakes for my wonderful customers. As someone with food allergies and intolerances, I understand how important care and precision are, so my kitchen is thoughtfully run with this at the forefront.
